Background

CurlMix offers clean, natural hair products as part of a Wash and Go hair system. Thanks to its easy and effective offering, CurlMix has a highly engaged and enthusiastic consumer base.

Challenge

CurlMix engaged with Embedded to identify additional channels for growth to complement its existing paid advertising channels and organic promotion.

Solution

Embedded identified, developed and launched new channels for distribution, including a referral program and partner affiliate program. This included:

  • Increasing the % of sales from user referrals through A/B testing, plus optimizing offer placement and user discovery

  • Developing the partner program offer, which included unit economics analysis, marketing planning, identification of a software solution, and working with the team to launch the program to influencers, which resulted in increased revenue for CurlMix

  • Identifying and prioritizing additional channel experiments, which included planning for the infrastructure and launch of these programs
